In this camp, the students will learn the basic woodworking skills. They will learn proper tool safety and use. The students will be able to put together small projects such as a step stool and toolboxes. Students will also help with repair work on our wooden boats.

This camp is for beginning and intermediate sailors between the ages of 11 -14-year. It is a great time to start learning to sail or to refresh your sailing skills after a long winter break from sailing.

These events are geared toward Intermediate graduates to provide additional sailing opportunities through the year. We will set out a course and do water-based activities on the water. The goal here is to have fun and sail more.
We will be using both the El Toros (for the ages 8-11) and the Fevas (for the ages 11-14). The sailors will be paired with a friend to sail and participate in the event.

When: May 8 - June 6, every Thursday from 11:30am until 2:30pm (6sessions)
Tuition: $595 Members; $670 Non Members
Students will develop tacking, jibing, sail trim, weight balance and capsize recovery skills while learning terminology and theory. Beginner sailors sail in teams of two to enhance their communication, observation, patience, and teamwork while practicing new skills. No experience necessary

CANCELLATION POLICY
For All Course Registrations, Including Youth Camps, The Following Cancellation Policy Applies.
For private sailing lessons and boatbuilding classes, the cancellation policy outlined at the time of booking and in the confirmation email will be enforced.
Cancellation/change outside of 45 days: You will be charged a $50 admin fee and receive a refund for the remaining amount.
Cancellation/change within 45-15 days prior to start date: You will be charged a $50 admin fee and 50% tuition credit for the remaining amount towards a course within the same calendar year. There is no cash refund.
No refund or credit available upon cancelation within 14 days or less to start of program.
In the event of single day cancelations due to Covid, Wildfire Smoke, or Severe Weather no partial refunds will be issued. For weather related issues classes will be held on land.
CWB reserves the right to cancel a course and refund the participants in full.
