Q&A

  • Can I pre-register for a boat ride?

    • Yes, this is a first come, first served event though so if you are not present and checked in by 10:20 AM, your spot will be forfeited to the waitlist or walkups.

    • CHECK IN on day of sail IS REQUIRED to hold your reservation.

  • How long will the boat ride last?

    • The Lavengro ride will last 1.5 hours.

  • Do I need to have sailing experience?

    • No, sailboats will be skippered by female captains.

  • Can I bring a bag on the boat?

    • Small body cross bags are fine but we encourage you to come with as little as possible. CWB is not held liable for any personal belongings left on the docks during a boat ride.

  • Can I bring food with me?

    • Sure! Just make sure to eat on the dock and not on the boats as there will be very little room to spare.

  • What do I wear?

    • Being out on the water is generally 10 degrees cooler than on land, and windier. Prepare to wear warm layers and windbreakers that will keep you dry and closed toed shoes.

    • You must wear a life jacket at all times on the boat. All life jackets will be provided and are Coast Guard Certified!

  • Can I bring my child with me?

    • This event is intended for women over the age of 18. Children are welcome to the event as long as they are accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 at all times.

    • Those under 18 will not be permitted to ride a boat at this event.

  • Will there be parking?
