Gallery Exhibit - “Still Afloat: Historic Small Craft of King County”

“Still Afloat: Historic Small Craft of King County”, opened on October 22nd, 2017. The exhibit highlights four unique and historic wooden boat designs that enjoy a permanent place in the CWB collection: BLANCHARD JUNIOR KNOCKABOUT, GEARY 18, KITTEN CLASS, AND HVALSOE LAPSTRAKE DINGY.

This exhibit featured the legacies of these renowned small craft and their impact on marine recreation, as well as inspiring stories that chronicle the interwoven histories of The Center for Wooden Boats, Lake Union and Seattle.
