Pelican Peluza is geared toward recent SailNOW! graduates (although anyone with a blue card is welcome) to provide additional sailing experience through learning how to race.  There will be 1 - 3 races per night (depending on conditions), around a designated mark down the lake.  The goal is to have fun and sail more.

We will be using the Pelican sailboats in our fleet which can accommodate 2 adults.  For 2024 we may include Swifts and other boats depending on demand. The event will begin with a debrief on the course, rules, and the start sequence. Sailors will rig their boats and head to the starting area.  Once the starting horn is sounded, the race is on.

After racing is completed and the boats are back at the dock, there will be some social time where folks can meet other sailors and go over the events of the evening.
