Join CWB for Drop-In Shore School! This 2-hour interactive course will introduce you to the basics of sailing. Topics will include terminology for parts of the boat and points of sail, as well as the basic theory of sailing. With the class you will receive the CWB Sailing Primer! This is a great option for anyone who is curious about sailing and what’s involved. Many participants attend because they own or crew on a sailboat and want to dive deeper into sailing theory. Shore School is also an excellent choice for any sailor scheduled for private lessons with CWB interested in getting a running start!

Shore School occurs in person the first Saturday of each month in conjunction with the start of our SailNOW! Program Sessions: 10:00am - 12:00pm (January is an exception). We’ll meet at the floating boathouse/deck or upstairs in the Wagner Education Center Sail Loft. Please arrive a few minutes early to find parking, get your bearings, and meet other attendees!
