Calling all boat lovers to The Center for Wooden Boats this April 28th for a festive season kick-off at

our third annual Free Boating Day!

What to expect:

  • Free 1-hour rentals of all human-powered boats; peapods, rowboats, kayaks, canoes.

  • Free Sailboat Checkouts

  • Our first Public Sail of the year! Sign up is first come first served and will be outside of the Wagner Education Center

  • Free youth and family activities including: toy boat building, knot tying, woodshop demonstrations, try a tool, and Pond Boat demonstrations by Pacific Northwest Model Yacht Club!

  • Special Wooden Boat Storytime themed “Spring into Spring with Frog and Toad”!

  • As always, free access to the museum with new exhibits to view
