How To Reserve the boatman’s cabin
Online: You may view availability and make a reservation through our online booking calendar (link below). Please note: you will need to separately reserve each night you are staying. After you make your reservations, the Cama Beach Manager will email you confirming the details of your stay and then prepare a rental agreement. Once you have received a rental agreement by email, you have 14 days to return it signed with payment or your reservation may be cancelled.

Rates & Seasons
Main Season (April 1 through October 31st): $150 first night, $100 each additional night
Off-Season (November 1st through March 31st): $125 first night, $75 each additional night
Pet Fee: $15 plus tax ($16.31 total) per night
Amenities of the boatman’s cabin
The Boatman’s Cabin is a Deluxe Cabin with a private bathroom and simple kitchen facilities, as well as a small maritime history and boatbuilding library. Other amenities include:
- 3 double-sized beds
- 1 single top bunk bed
- Refrigerator, counter, sink, microwave
- Attached bathroom with shower
- Electric Heat
Please note: the Boatman’s Cabin, like other cabins at Cama Beach State Park, is not a full-service lodging venue and does not include many services that hotels or resorts may provide. Guests must bring their own pillows, bedding, towels, cookwear, dishes, utensils, and other equipment needed for their stay.
Staying at Cama Beach State Park
Check-in for the Boatman’s Cabin begins at 3:00pm. Check-out is at 11:00am. Keys may be picked up at the Welcome Center on the way into the park.
Pets are allowed in the Boatman’s Cabin with a $15 (plus tax) pet fee per night. Smoking is not permitted.
Private vehicles are not allowed on the beachfront access road to the cabins. Shuttles from parking lots to the cabins run daily until 6:00pm. Parking in Cama Beach State Park requires a state Discover Pass, $10 per night or $30 per year. Extra vehicles will be charged a $10 fee. Discover Passes may be purchased at the Cama Beach State Park Welcome Center, or online here.

Reservation & Payment Policies
Reserving a cabin requires payment in full within two weeks of making the initial appointment. Payments may be made in person via cash, check, or credit card; by mail via check or credit card, or over the phone by credit card.
Reservations taken more than 30 days in advance must be for a minimum of two consecutive nights. Reservations made less than 30 days in advance may be for one night.
Cancelations made more than 60 days before the reservation are eligible for a full refund, less a $50 administrative fee. Cancelations made more than 30 days in advance are eligible for a refund, less $150 first night’s payment. Cancelations made less than 30 days in advance are not eligible for any refund. Refunds are issued via check up to 30 days after the stay.
Staying in the Boatman’s Cabin is an exclusive benefit of being a CWB member. People wishing to reserve the Boatman’s Cabin must be current CWB members at the time of placing the reservation, and at the time of the rental.
