Special Projects

The Center for Wooden Boats often engages in special projects that allow us to explore topics and areas of our region's small craft history that are not covered by our normal programming. These projects, generously funded by grants and donors, help us partner with other organizations, engage volunteers, and further our mission. 

Recent projects include the documentation of CWB collection vessels according to the standards of the Secretary of the Interior, and an exploration of the underwater archaeology of Lake Union.
