Woodworking for Kids

Do you like using tools? Do you want to learn more about cutting and shaping wood, while making something that is both pretty and functional? Join us for woodworking for kids and you will learn how to use hand tools such as drills and saws to build a tool/storage box that you can keep for yourself or give to a friend or family member.

Learn how to use hand tools and work at your own pace on take home projects including a toolbox and a model boat. Learn how to:

  • Read and understand plans
  • Measure accurately
  • Use hand tools safely
  • Care for hand tools

SUMMER SESSIONS | MONDAY – FRIDAY 1PM – 4PM | $235

Session 1: June 26-28, 2017 NOTE this is a 3-Day, FULL-Day camp from 9:00am – 4:00pm | Cost for this camp is $275
Session 2: July 10-14, 2017
Session 3: July 31 – August 1, 2017
Session 4: August 14-18, 2017

Requirements & What to expect

Beginning Woodworking students should wear long pants, close-toed shoes, and clothing that may be permanently stained by paint and glue.
