Santa on the Dock 2016
The Lake Union Rotary Club has been a long-time partner of The Center for Wooden Boats, hosting Happy Hour for Good in our boathouse on the 3rd Thursdays throughout the summer. In the coming weeks, they will be hosting the second annual Santa on the Dock fundraiser.
Bring your kids or grandkids to sit with Santa for a picture taken in true Pacific Northwest style, all while supporting a good cause. (We know Santa well. He might not mind a few adults having their pictures taken too). This could also be a gift to provide your clients, if you are having a hard time figuring out what to get them this year.
Santa on the Dock will happen right here at The Center for Wooden Boats from 10:00am – 3:00pm on Sundays December 4th (sign up link coming soon – please check in HERE for updates), December 11th and December 18th. This coincides with our Public Sunday Sail, so you could get your photo and take a boat ride all in the same trip!
Thanks to Jim Thompson, professional photographer, and child and pet-friendly Santa, you will get a hard copy and a digital copy of your favorite picture on the spot.
Your $25 donation is tax deductible and will help fund local and global community projects, including:
the Safe Water, Clean Hands program which provides a sustainable source of safe water to over 18,000 Ethiopian school children and their staff, local community involvement with Youthcare and Mary’s Place, and our Maritime Grant which creates good paying jobs and employment training for homeless teens in Seattle.
You can pre-pay and reserve your spot either by clicking on the dated links above or by visiting www.santaonthedock.com
