Honor Pole Ceremony

Honor Pole

Several months ago, we received a grant from the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture Youth Arts program funded the restoration of the Honor Pole that stands at the south entrance of our South Lake Union location.

This restoration was completed by CWB Artist in Residence, Saaduuts, as well as Brant Lodge and children from the Native American community in Seattle.

Tomorrow from 2-3pm at the Lake Union Wooden Boat Festival, there will be a ceremony for the completion of the project. Saaduuts will lead this ceremony, discussing the significance of the honor pole and the details of its restoration.

This event is open to the public, so we hope to see you there!

Thank you so much to Seattle Office of Arts & Culture for the funds needed to take on this project. We could not have done it without you!
