Santa on the Dock with Lake Union Rotary Club

The Lake Union Rotary Club has been a long-time partner of ours, hosting Happy Hour for Good in our Boathouse on the 3rd Thursdays of most months throughout the year. Over the coming weeks, there will be a new event to enjoy!

Bring your kids or grandkids to sit on Santa’s lap for a picture taken in true Pacific Northwest style, all while supporting a good cause. (We know Santa well. He might not mind a few adults having their pictures taken too). This could also be a gift to provide your clients, if you are having a hard time figuring out what to get them.

Santa on the Dock will happen right here at The Center for Wooden Boats from 10:00am-2:00pm on Sundays Nov 29, Dec 6, Dec 13, & Dec 20. This coincides with our Public Sunday Sail, so you could get your photo and take a boat ride all in the same trip!

The suggested donation is $20, including 5×7 print & emailed image for you to use as you like. An additional charge will apply for multiple children in one photo.

The funds from Santa on the Dock will benefit Lake Union Rotary projects:

such as the Clean Water, Safe Hands program which provides a sustainable source of safe water to over 18,000 Ethiopian school children and their staff, and our Maritime Grant which creates good paying jobs and employment training for homeless teens in Seattle.

This is the first Santa on the Dock, but it won’t be the last! We’re planning for this to be an annual event, so come out and start a new holiday tradition with us.
