ACBS Pacific Northwest Raises $25,000 for New Ed Center!
CWB is pleased to congratulate the Antique & Classic Boat Society – Pacific Northwest Chapter (ACBS) for reaching their fundraising goal of $25,000 for our capital campaign to build the Dick and Colleen Wagner Education Center. ACBS is the world’s largest group dedicated to antique boating. Since its beginning almost 25 years ago they have helped introduce thousands to the hobbyy of antique boating. The Pacific Northwest Chapter, founded in 1980, is one of the largest and most active in the nation. Visit www.acbs-pnw.org to learn more.
ACBS’ Ike Kielgass helped lead the charge. He says of their success, “Our chapter finally has its own spot… a gathering spot for generations to come. A place that we can go to, our kids can go to, and see our name.”
CWB would especially like to acknowledge Ed and Barb Tronca, who made the substantial final donation that enabled the members of ACBS to reach their goal. For more information on CWB’s capital campaign for the Wagner Education Center, visit www.cwb.org/events/capital-campaign.
