Thanks for a GREAT Festival!

We welcomed over 30,000 people into Lake Union Park last weekend for the 35th Annual Lake Union Wooden Boat Festival!

Visitors enjoyed toy boat building, pond boat sailing, free boat rides, kite making, climbing aboard new and old wooden boats, and running through the fountain. We received lots of great feedback from visitors, including comments such as:

“Took sailing lessons here this spring – LOVED IT! This show is great!” – Steve A.

“The Dragon Boats were really cool!”

“The canoe ride was fun!”

“Great show – I’m from Ohio – This is better!”

“Loved the Warehouse Tour!”

We also received a few poems on our comment board. Here is one of them:

Sunny day
Walking by
What are all these tents?

Looking close
We come to see
All these wooden boats

What a surprise
Under fluffy clouds
I love Seattle!

Thanks to everyone who came out to Festival, and a HUGE thanks to the staff and volunteers who made it all possible! We are also extremely grateful for the support of our sponsors:
