Nautical Book Swap at CWB!

Is your nautical library in need of something new? Got some boating how-to books that have been gathering dust?

If so, you won’t want to miss Three Sheets Northwest and Armchair Sailor’s first ever nautical book exchange, to be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5 at the Center for Wooden Boats in Seattle.

Bring your books to swap and hear Armchair Sailor owner Brindy Bundesmann talk about some of the best new maritime titles. You might even win a prize: a Three Sheets t-shirt or a gift certificate for Armchair Sailor.

All types of nautical books are welcome, from cruising memoirs to guidebooks, novels to books on boatbuilding. Armchair Sailor will be donating some oldies-but-goodies to the selection. Bring as many books as you like — the more you bring, the more there will be to take home!

Beyond scoring books and meeting fellow boaters, you’ll also be helping out a good cause — proceeds from the event will be used to support the Center for Wooden Boats (suggested donation: $10 or more), and all leftover books will be donated to a local library. Snacks, beer and wine provided.

So come on down for a great evening. Renew your nautical library in time for those long, cold winter nights and spend a few fun hours talking books and boats.

Space is limited, so RSVP by clicking here.

Hope to see you there!
