The Center for Wooden Boats has called South lake Union home for the past 26 years. We planted the trees and the grass, paved the parking lot, built the buildings and floats, and installed the utility lines. Now, the rest of South Lake Union is growing rapidly around us, and the new Lake Union Park will open this fall.

CWB needs your help in order to continue to provide enriching programs for kids and adults, ensure quality public access, and preserve our maritime heritage.

Your support will help us bring our core facilities in South Lake Union up to the highest quality of construction safety and environmental responsibility.

$35,000 more anchors our home port.

This is THE moment when CWB must call upon old and new friends alike to increase their efforts and help keep us afloat and on course. This critical final $35,000 will help ensure that CWB’s facilities and programs are around for generations to come.

Have your name, your boat’s name or a heart-felt message permanently affixed in bronze. Name a new Dock Plank for $1,000, or a Dock Cleat or Rail for $2,500. But ALL gifts – of ANY amount will be recognized on a special plaque installed in the CWB Boathouse.

Contact Betsy Davis or Judith Rickard at 206-382-2628 to learn about opportunities to support CWB at this critical time.
